EMC Test Engineer 

Length: 6 months

Responsibilities:

  • Perform EMC Regulatory testing (emissions and immunity).
  • Perform tests such as Conducted Spurious Emissions, Radiated Spurious Emissions, Radiated Immunity, ESD, EFT, etc.
  • Record data and work with Compliance Engineers to fulfill testing needs for Distributed Control Systems and related hardware.
  • Follow ISO17025 Quality Procedures.
  • Follow lab equipment operation and maintenance guidelines.
  • Working productively and seamlessly as a member of a skilled team of compliance professionals

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline and 5 - 7 years related experience, or Master's degree and 1 - 3 years of related experience.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications
  • Proactive in meeting program cost, schedule and product performance
  • Possess the ability to work in a changing environment
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Possess good customer interface skills with the ability to work directly with technical and non-technical personnel
  • Ability to anticipate, identify, and take action on potential issues and problems
  • Must be a Self-starter, able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Understanding and hands-on experience with EMI testing configurations and test operations
  • Understanding of RF and RF test systems
