This R&D Software Engineering position offers the opportunity to work with a highly skilled team-oriented group of measurement and software engineers.

You will use Microsoft Visual Studio and the C# language to develop software that facilitates customers to design, development, deploy, and troubleshooting their commercial wireless systems.

In an open environment to foster collaboration and support an agile software development approach, you will apply modern software engineering practices such as design reviews, code review, unit testing and usability testing.

    Essential skills required of this position are:

     

    Desired Requirements:

    • A Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
    • 5-8 years software engineering – ability to demonstrate advanced software coding skills
    • Proficient with C#/.NET, Visual Studio and Team Foundation
    • Proficient in building, testing, and debugging software
    • Strong knowledge in modern techniques in object-oriented design, UML, and design patterns
    • Experience with memory management, and multi-threaded programming
    • Experience with Agile development, with proven ability to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment
    • Good organizational skills, working effectively within a team with a positive influence
    • Versatile, quick learner, and a critical thinker
    • Familiarity/experience with C/C++, XML
    • Proficient with electronic test equipment
    • Understanding of RF and microwave hardware and hardware control
    • Experience with software planning, tracking, and quality management
