GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

• CDI is seeking a Computer Operator 2 for Cyber Security Support Services (CSSS) for the Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division (NAWCWD)
• This is a Full Time position in China Lake, California. This position is available for contingent hire

GENERAL DUTIES:

• Monitor and control electronic computer and peripheral electronic data processing equipment to process business, scientific, engineering, and other data according to operating instructions.
• Monitor and respond to operating and error messages.

MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• An Associate’s degree in computer science or other technical field and one (1) year of experience OR at least two (2) years of experience in computer science or other technical field.
• Experience in DoN and DoD-relevant areas is a plus.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Applicant will be subject to a security investigation.  This position may require an additional background screening for base access.
• Applicant must have a Secret clearance issued by the US Government and be Top Secret eligible.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• CARRYING and LIFTING. Ability to transport and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Employee is required to access remote areas of multi-level vessels
• Must comply with Company’s Driver Safety Policy if assigned to operate company and/or rental vehicles
