GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

CDI Government Services is currently recruiting an Information Technologist in Washington DC and in Norfolk, VA for the IWS 8.0 program: 

• Primary responsibility of this position is to provide desktop and network support to Frigate Combat System Test Team personnel

GENERAL DUTIES:

• Support Frigate Combat System test team with desktop setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Control software updates and licensing
• Provide computer system security such as access control, information security, and virus protection and scans
• Log and track test team LAN equipment
• Install/removed computer equipment in support of arrival/departure of test team personnel
• Provide IA guidance relative to LAN usage
• Serve as primary interface between the test team and Frigate  SNAP LAN personnel

MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• 1-3 years of relevant experience and a minimum of Associates (AA) Degree is required or 6 years of professional / military experience relevant to the position.

• Must be a US Citizen
• Proficient with Microsoft products
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Applicant must have a current Secret clearance and may be subject to a security investigation to obtain and maintain a security clearance issued by the US Government. In addition to the security clearance, this position may require an additional background screening for base access.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• CARRYING and LIFTING. Ability to transport and lift objects up to 30 lbs.
• Must comply with Company’s Driver Safety Policy if assigned to operate company and/or rental vehicles
