Seeking an Application Engineer for providing Engineering Support

This position functions as pre-sales marketing and technical support providing semi-complex product support for field based Product Consultants, focusing on competitive cross reference and new solutions for prospective customers.

May resolve semi-complex technical problems and provide installation support and post-sales consulting. Provides follow-up support in disseminating semi-complex technical information on specific applications

Candidate will be expected to quickly develop an in depth understanding of industrial control products. Individual will work extensively with competitive documentation and websites and support the development and maintenance of customer facing tools, such as cross references, catalogs, configurators, selection microsites and interactive demos.

They will also support Product Management in the creation and implementation of databases for product data attributes, photos and collateral.

Position requires a high attention to detail in order to differentiate between products and accurately map databases to product specs and support tools.
