On behalf of our client in the oil and gas sector CDI Professional Services is seeking a Category Manager - Procurement and Supply Chain.

Job Responsibilities:

Will support, develop and execute sourcing strategies and provide critical support
Lead or support sourcing efforts, to include market analysis and development of bid package, management of RFP processes, analysis of results and renegotiation of terms and conditions
Ensure client requirements are managed in a timely manner and contracting is executed in accordance with existing sector strategies.

Mandatory Skills:

Education: 4 year university degree in Supply Chain/Procurement, Business, or Engineering
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders across multiple disciplines, cultures and geographies, across BP and with suppliers.
Working knowledge of systems such as Ariba OneSource, Backbone and SAP.
