The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and ten years of process and thin film experience in the semiconductor business. Job is located in Florida not far from Orlando. SUMMARY:

Looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead a group of engineers with the objective of improving quality, yields and production capacity. She/he will be a member of a process engineering team and support development and manufacture of surface acoustic wave (SAW) devices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and develop team of thin film and etch engineers and technicians
  • Develop and implement key performance metrics/goals for process and engineering staff
  • Develop and support thin film and plasma etch processes for SAW manufacture
  • Interface with yield engineering ,equipment engineering and other process/development engineering groups to optimize process flow, equipment performance and manufacturing recipes
  • Work with design engineers and suppliers to improve device manufacturability and equipment in order to facilitate the manufacturing process, reduce its manufacturing costs and improve yields
  • Apply design for manufacturing, design for assembly, design for cost techniques to next generation products
  • Implement and enhance process control, including SPC for high volume production
  • Execute design of experiments and process FMEAs

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science
  • Minimum 10 years of management experience in thin films and plasma etch
  • Experience in process/technology development and ramp up of new products
  • Ability to resolve complex problems with simple and timely solutions
  • Ability to work with and train technicians and operators
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment in which flexibility and adaptability are key attributes needed for success
