As a Program Coordinator on the Engineering Education (engEDU) team, you will provide top-quality support to coordinate and seamlessly deliver training programs to engineers.

In this role, you will develop positive working relationships with engineers and colleagues at all organizational levels to ensure that engineers are getting the training that they need to be productive. You should be a self starter with demonstrated project management, organizational, and communication skills. You will also help create communications that illustrate the functionality and key benefits of engEDU education programs, resources, and educational tools.

You should be extremely proactive, responsible, detail-oriented, and demonstrate a high-level of "scrappiness", i.e., get the job done!

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare class materials for instructors and students
  • Manage scheduling, coordination, and communication of training classes in multiple locations
  • Maintain and develop positive relationships with a large team of volunteer facilitators
  • Be the point person for questions from students and facilitators
  • Compile and analyze course data
  • Be flexible and find innovative ways to problem solve
  • Support other engEDU programs as needed
  • Collaborate with engEDU PMs to create compelling communications that illustrate the functionality and key benefits of engEDU education programs, resources, and educational tools

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 Years of experience as a training coordinator, event planner or teacher
  • Prior experience working with engineers and/or coordinating trainings a plus
  • Must be good with people

Nice to have:

  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and projects with little guidance
  • Ability to work well with others and support different timezones in a timely manner
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Flexibility and able to make quick adjustments when unexpected changes arise
  • Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to pitch-in
